Connected apps
Crewdesk works in the business apps your organization connected in CrewAI AMP: Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Google Drive, CRMs and the others AMP integrates. It doesn't bring its own integrations, and it doesn't keep your passwords: each action runs through AMP, in your organization, as you.
Reading and writing
- Reads (search the inbox, list channels, find a record) run as soon as the agent needs them.
- Writes (send, post, create, update, delete) are proposed on an approval card unless your permission mode and your organization's policy let them run.
- Destructive writes (deleting or overwriting, sending to many recipients) ask every time, in every mode.
The agent learns an action's inputs from AMP's catalog before it uses it, and remembers what it learned for the rest of the chat.
Connecting a new app
When a request needs an app you haven't connected yet, the agent shows a card to connect it. You can also see and manage your apps in Settings → Integrations.
What app data is to the agent
What an app returns (an e-mail's body, a CRM record, a file's text) is untrusted data: shown to the model as data, never as instructions, and a turn that read some sends every write to a card. See Untrusted data.
Files from apps
A file an app returns can be saved into your workspace as a new file (never over an existing one), or kept as one of the chat's files.
