CLI reference

crewdesk with no subcommand opens the chat window. Everything below also works as crewai desk … where the crewai CLI mounts it. crewdesk --help and crewdesk COMMAND --help print the same.

Chat options

Option	What it does
-p, --print TEXT	One turn: the reply to stdout, tool rows to stderr. -p - reads the text from stdin
--resume [ID]	Continue a session (a picker without ID)
--save-files DIR	In print mode, download the files the reply saved
--workspace DIR	The folder the agent works in (default: the current folder)
--no-workspace	No folder: no file, command or git tools
--mode ask|edits|workspace	This run's permission mode, never kept
--model auto|light|default|strong	The model tier
--assistant NAME	A new chat with one of your assistants
--allow-commands	Let print mode run commands
--dangerously-skip-permissions	Fully free for this chat: nothing on this computer asks, and commands run without the sandbox. Destructive writes in apps still ask
--hub URL	The Crewdesk server to talk to
