Roadmap and known limits
Crewdesk is in active development. This page lists what is known not to work yet. It is not a promise of dates.
Known limits
- Notarization. The app is signed with an Apple Developer ID but not yet notarized by Apple. A copy downloaded with a browser opens the first time with right-click → Open. The installer isn't affected.
- Apple silicon only. The app is built for Apple silicon; an Intel Mac gets the terminal client.
- Attachments on AMP. When your turns run on the brain on AMP, the bytes of attachments don't reach it yet.
- Linux sandbox. Where bubblewrap can't start, the terminal client has no sandbox, so commands keep asking.
- No image generation.
The terminal client, not built yet
- Attaching a file with
@file. - Drawing charts in the terminal (a one-line summary today) and plan cards.
- Linking your AMP account from the terminal (done in the app today), and deleting or renaming sessions from the sidebar.
Assistants, not built yet
- Skills, files and schedules of an assistant's own.
Platform
- Each round trip to AMP has a fixed cost that can't be reduced with what AMP offers today; work continues on making fewer of them.
