Automations
An automation is one of your organization's CrewAI crews or flows deployed on AMP. Crewdesk can work with them from a chat:
- List them and say what each one does and what inputs it takes.
- Run one, after checking its inputs against what the automation asks for.
- Read its runs: status, outputs and what went wrong.
- Create a new one, following a plan: create, schedule, test.
- Schedule it to run at a time of day.
- Diagnose a failure with a specialist that reads its runs and traces.
- Analyze data through a query automation, with a specialist data analyst.
Running, creating, deploying and scheduling are writes: they go through approval cards like any other.
Schedules
A schedule runs one of your automations at a time of day, in your time zone (so 08:00 stays 08:00 across daylight saving), every day or on chosen weekdays, with fixed inputs. You can have up to 20.
Crewdesk keeps your schedules on its server and starts each run as you. A schedule looks after itself:
- After three failed runs in a row it pauses.
- Before each run it reads the automation again; if its inputs or description changed since you scheduled it, it pauses instead of running with stale inputs, and says what changed.
- Every pause tells you: a notice in the app or the terminal the next time you open it.
/schedules lists them with how each last ran; resume a paused one from there or with crewdesk schedules resume.
